Magicopolis

Yesterday I went to a magic show in Santa Monica at a place called Magicopolis.

The magician was very entertaining and so was his assistant “Olga”

(Chris Rock wasn’t there)

It was a good show! I liked everything about it except for 2 things that really rubbed me the wrong way.

1.) In the middle of the show they did that trick where he makes the lady float… I was in AWWWWW.. How were they doing this? Was it strings holding her up? No! because he used a hula hoop and put it all around her so we know what wasn’t it…  but right before she got back to her seat on her way down, I think she may have gotten up too soon, or she fell or something… But I saw the board she was lying on…. It kinda ruined the rest of the show for me… I want to believe in magic… My good mind tells me

“No, they’re all tricks”

but then another part of me is saying…

“But what if it isn’t”

But for the rest of the show after I saw that board I was saying

“No, they’re all tricks”

I didn’t want to do that, it took away the experience.

2.) The grand finale wasn’t as epic as I wanted to be… the set up was, but the execution of it wasn’t.

I left the show moderately entertained… I wish I would have left like “no, they are wizards… how did they do that!?”

I Hate Thinking Of Blog Titles

I had an eventful little yesterday. You guys get to be my girlfriend for a moment, and I’m gonna tell you about my day.

So I went to this Jerk festival at the Convention Center downtown #random. Saw the little homies The Rangers up there (I’ve been running into them a lot recently).

Then I went to a concert at USC with T-Pain and The Clipse #amazing

The Clipse show was dope, wehn it comes to their rapping I like Pusha T (the one with braids) more, but yesterday I grew a lot of respect for Malice (the one without braids) because that N**ga is fly! He was wearing some fly sh*t on stage! #respect

Then T-Pain hit the stage! on top of his shiny ass watch he was wearing. His set was so dope. I heard 26 seconds of ALL my favorite songs (T-pain did EVERYONES hook, and he performed them all with the exception of Bow Wows “Outta My System” lol)

We’ll be there (at USC on 4/20) performing. If you’re in town, come down and rock with us.

Stanford

We just did a show at Stanford and it was off the chains, we did our thing! rocked it like we always do. It was for their Battle of the Bay that they always have. It’s basically when they get people to come out and freestyle and have different performances and all kinds of stuff like that, they had The Pack headlining and we opened for them. We chose enimaL to represent us in the freestyle battle (i’m sure he is going to post something later explaining it to everyone).

The show was awesome

We got there earlier than expected so they weren’t ready for our sound check, so we found plenty of mischief around campus to keep us fairly busy until it was time to work. After our sound check they show us our dressing room with all our stuff in it (chips, fruit snacks, red bulls, water, etc.) So we’re like cool. We leave for a couple of hours because there’s plenty of time before the show and when we get back to our dressing room some of the stuff is gone! So we’re like, “Yo, where did all of our stuff go?” and a couple of the girls tell us “It was for The Pack” WTF!?

We want our sh*t back!

So we go get that sh*t back!

lol.

Don’t tell The Pack! (I don’t think they check our website too often)

The show was dope, Stanford is dope, The experience was dope! Hopefully we can come back soon
